Service Operations Due to COVID-19

To Our Valued Clients:
During this difficult time, Planet Shred & Planet Shred Records Management will be open for business providing you the same level of service you have come to expect.
We will continue to provide service to our Clients who are open as “an essential business” under Executive Order No. 107, Governor Murphy signed into effect on March 21, 2020.
Our Residential Off-Site Shredding Services have been suspended until further notice.
We are open for Drop-Off Shredding Services, Monday - Friday from 10-4, with the following precautionary requirements:
- Only one customer at a time allowed in the reception area.
- A face mask must be worn when entering our facility.
- Payment must be check or credit card.
- Boxes, bags, etc, must be taken with you upon departure.
The safety of everyone is paramount at this point. We recognize how important it is for us all to do our part. For the safety and health of your clients and employees as well as ours, we have taken the following measures:
Our Staff Will….
- Not be permitted to work if they have a fever or show any symptoms of illness.
- Practice Social Distancing as recommended by the CDC.
- Wash their hands frequently.
- Use hand sanitizer before entering your facility.
- Disinfect our office and vehicles daily.
- Not require dual signatures as we normally would during your service. This will eliminate the passing of pens, scanners, clipboards, etc. between our staff and yours. At this time, we will instead write the name of your employee, accepting the invoice, where they would normally sign.
We will be monitoring this terrible situation and following the guidelines set forth by the CDC, State of New Jersey, and our local Government. We will update you with any changes that may impact your service.
